Strategic Team for Advanced Research in Infectious Diseases

STAR-ID is a group of basic, clinical and translational science researchers in the field of HIV infection, COVID-19 and other infections, belonging to different Spanish institutions. Our main objective is the generation of synergies in ideas, capacities, resources and project execution to promote high-level research on priority topics at the national and international level. Additional objectives of STAR-ID are the promotion of research by young professionals, facilitating their mobility, training and development of skills in the scientific field as well as the dissemination of scientific research in the community.
